WPP has won the global creative duties for Henkel, the German company that owns brands including Persil and Schwarzkopf in a pitch against incumbent Omnicom. Campaign understands WPP creative agencies Grey and Ogilvy and WPP Production were involved in the pitch and that a bespoke team will work on the account. The remit is believed to include creative, production and martech in all markets.
Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd (GOLIL) has appointed independent agency Curativity Brand Solutions as its new creative agency partner. The partnership comes at a pivotal moment as Gulf Oil seeks to sharpen its long-standing legacy in the lubricants sector while accelerating its focus on expanding its consumer-facing business segments. The account was earlier with Dentsu, which had secured the integrated media and creative mandate in August 2023.
22feet, part of Omnicom Advertising India, has been named the integrated creative agency on record (AOR) for Jack Daniel’s India following a multi-agency pitch process. The mandate covers the full Jack Daniel’s portfolio: Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Flavors, Gentleman Jack, Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel as well as new launches in the future.
Jindal Stainless has appointed Madison Media as its official media AOR, as it expands its focus toward a more consumer-facing arena. The account will be led out of the Gurugram office.
Ekaagra, the master franchise partner for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf India, has appointed popkorn as its creative AOR following a multi-agency pitch process. The appointment comes as international café chains continue to compete for relevance in India’s growing café and quick-service restaurant segment.
Elsewhere, The Coca-Cola Company has hired Ajaz Ahmed's start-up agency Studio.One to create its Christmas campaign following pitch against WPP. WPP Open X is the global marketing partner for the brand but other agencies outside WPP also work with the brand.

Adidas is currently reviewing its global media account with three networks vying for the business: Publicis, Omnicom and WPP. WPP’s EssenceMediacom is the incumbent on the account, having initially won it as a MediaCom account in 2018.
A result in Ikea's creative pitch is expected soon. Agencies were informed in February of a timeline up to May this year. In December the list was whittled down to VML, Adam & Eve\TBWA and VCCP.
