Procter & Gamble (P&G) has appointed MS&L as its Asia regional corporate communications and reputation agency. The account will be handled out of MS&L’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices, with support from the MS&L Asia network of 15 offices and additional local partners.
According to an official press statement, MS&L will work with P&G Asia to support its regional level corporate communications and leverage the corporate initiatives across Asia including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
“As part of our P&G Asia regional structure, we are expanding our framework and resources for communicating regional level corporate platforms and supporting our local markets with best practice sharing,” said Erik Jonnaert, vice president for external relations, P&G Asia.
Glenn Osaki, president of MS&L Asia said, “This assignment is a strong recognition of our Asia network’s corporate expertise and ability to collaborate with a global leader like P&G to position and communicate their corporate brand in Asia’s diverse landscape of stakeholders.”
Talking about the implication for MS&L’s India office, Jaideep Shergill, managing director, Hanmer MS&L said, “There is still no clarity on what exactly we would be doing for them. The onboarding process is still on. Different offices of MS&L are having discussions with P&G. We will have a better understanding about the exact mandate in a few days.”
