PeopleStrong, an HR tech company, has appointed Adishri Charla as senior vice president – marketing. In this role, Charla will lead the company’s global brand and overall marketing strategy while supporting growth and customer engagement as PeopleStrong expands across India, Asia, the Middle East and other emerging markets.
Charla brings close to two decades of B2B marketing experience across start-ups and large global enterprises. She joins PeopleStrong from UiPath, where she held progressively senior marketing roles and most recently served as director and head of marketing for India and SAARC. During her tenure, she contributed to the company’s growth from its early expansion phase to category leadership in the region by developing integrated and revenue-aligned marketing strategies.
Her work at UiPath also included strengthening brand positioning and building customer and community marketing programmes that received multiple industry recognitions. At PeopleStrong, Charla will focus on building the company’s global brand presence, enabling demand generation initiatives and aligning marketing with measurable business outcomes.
The appointment comes at a time when PeopleStrong is expanding its footprint, supported by Goldman Sachs Alternatives. The company has onboarded several organisations across India and the Middle East, including Force Motors, Apollo Hospitals, DS Group, Omantel, Al Nabooda Automobiles and NFPC.
PeopleStrong has also received industry recognition for its technology solutions. The company was named Technology Solution Provider of the Year at the ET Human Capital Awards and HR Tech Provider of the Year at the People Matters Infini-T Awards. It has also been recognised as Customers’ Choice of HCM Suites in the Gartner ‘Voice of Customer’ Report for enterprises with more than 1000 employees for four consecutive years from 2022 to 2025.

Prior to UiPath, Charla worked at Oracle India, where she led go-to-market strategy and marketing programmes for systems and cloud infrastructure offerings through digital and on-ground initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked at IBM India focusing on global product marketing and marketing analytics.

Charla holds an MBA in marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Management and HR Development and has completed executive programmes at Columbia Business School and ISB. Her appointment reflects PeopleStrong’s focus on building leadership capabilities as it continues to scale its global HR technology platform.
