Mudra Max has announced the appointment of NP Sathyamurthy as head of its media offering. Sathyamurthy comes from Lintas Media Group, where he was chief operating officer for Lintas Media Group and chief executive officer for Karishma Initiative.
Confirming the development, Pratap Bose, chief operating officer, Mudra Group, said, “I have always been looking for a very senior media head ever since we conglomerated all our units under the Mudra Max banner. I have worked with Sathya before and we share a special relationship. And, with all his grey hairs, he will be a great asset to our media offering within Mudra Max and I see him leading the strategic thinking, key client relationships and playing an important role in our experiential and engagement offerings.”
Sathyamurthy has been with Lintas since 2007, prior to which he was with Carat Media. Before Carat, he served as director general, Media Research Users Council (MRUC) for three years. He has also worked with US-based Heinz in various roles and also worked with agencies such as Mudra, Ogilvy & Mather and Euro RSCG.
