Sohan Shah appointed head of India operations, Manjunath Hegde as national strategic director andd PK Anil as creative head

McCann Healthcare has appointed Sohan Shah as the new head of its India operations.

Shah, a medical doctor by degree and a marketing communication enthusiast by disposition, has already had stints with the agency in Indonesia, Singapore and India. On the new role, he said, “I have come back to McCann Healthcare India to expand the agencies Consumer Healthcare and Medical Communication offering, while consolidating our Pharmaceutical Marketing partnerships.  Through these offerings the focus will be on becoming vital partners in our client’s success and in the difference they make.”

The healthcare agency has also undertaken a restructuring, as a result of which Manjunath Hegde has been appointed national strategic director, and PK Anil the creative head. Hegde has more than 27 years of experience in the domian of communication, is the co-founder of chlorophyll, and has worked on brands like Complan, Pantene, Head & Shoulders, CRY, Ayush, Ginger, Benadryl and Vicks. Anil has 17 years of experience across McCann Erickson, R K Swamy BBDO and Triton having worked on brands like NDTV, Vaseline, Nerolac, Cathey Pacific, Acquagaurd, Fortune Oil, Moov, and Kinley.
