 Naresh Gupta appointed national planning director at Cheil

Cheil Worldwide SW Asia has appointed Naresh Gupta as national planning director, India.  Gupta will be working closely with Alok Agrawal, chief operating officer, Cheil Worldwide SW Asia. Prior to this Gupta, was with Dentsu Marcom, where he was the director for strategic planning. 

Commenting on Gupta’s appointment, Alok Agrawal, said, "Naresh’s experience, depth of consumer knowledge and approach to planning will serve Cheil well. Naresh has many accolades under his belt. I am delighted to have him on board." 

In a career spanning almost two decades, Gupta has worked with brands such as Nestle, HP, Garnier, Fidelity, Beam Brands, Honda, Canon, ICICI and Infosys among others. 

He has won awards and accolades for his work, which include bringing in the Euro Effie for Incredible India and the Asian Brand Marketing Effectiveness Award for Samsung Cup. 

On joining Cheil Worldwide SW Asia, Naresh Gupta said, “There is a new model of communication companies that is emerging in India. They are holistic in their approach and with a greater degree of integration across disciplines. Cheil is leading this change. It is a great opportunity to be in Cheil at this time and drive the change”
