Must watch on TV: Formula 1 and the Barclays Premier League

 

The weekend is here and with it brings some great sporting action.

To start things off for the weekend, there’s the on-going third Test match between India and West Indies. The match seems to be heading for a draw currently, but with the pitch showing some turn and bounce towards the latter half of the day, we may just be in for a surprise tomorrow. Catch day five of the game, Live from the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from 09:30 hours onwards on Neo Cricket.

Once the Test match ends, football lovers can rejoice as there’s a whole round of Barclays Premier League fixtures awaiting us.

In the first game of the weekend, Stoke City host Blackburn Rovers. The game kicks off at 18:10 hours.

This game is followed by Newcastle United’s visit to champions Manchester United at 20:30 hours. In the late kickoff at 23:00 hours on Saturday, the resurgent and Arsenal host Fulham.

On Sunday, in the big game of the weekend, Liverpool host league leaders and the only remaining unbeaten team in the league, Manchester City. Watch this game Live from 21:30 hours onwards. All the above mentioned Premier League games will be shown Live on ESPN.

For motorsports fans, there’s the last race of the season, the Brazilian Grand Prix to look forward to. Catch qualifying from Interlagos, live on STAR Sports from 22:00 hours and the race itself on Sunday from 21:30 hours onwards.

Further, for the early risers, there’s the Airtel Delhi half marathon on Sunday. Watch the marathon from 07:00 hours onwards, live on ESPN.
