MSM finally retains IPL

Close on the heels of the announcement that Indian Premier League (IPL) will be held in South Africa this year, another issue has been taken care of. Multi Screen Media retains the telecast rights of IPL. It may be recalled BCCI had planned to cancel the telecast rights deal with MSM citing breach of contract as a reason. MSM had then appealed in the High Court asking for an injunction. There were various reports in media speculating on the new telecast partner. But now the issue seems to have resolved as MSM retains the right.
