Motorola promotes new technology with digital campaign

Motorola has come up with an innovative online campaign built around its new patented technology, "Crystal Talk", available on multiple Motorola devices including Razr2.

"Crystal Talk reduces negative noise around you and enhances your voice so that you don't have to go through the hassle of finding a quiet place or scream your lungs out while talking. With Crystal Talk, the person on the other end of the call can hear you unbelievably clearly, despite the loud noise surrounding you," said Lloyd Mathias, director, marketing, India and Southwest Asia, Motorola.

Motorola has created a unique demo zone at http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/crystaltalk/ which allows consumers to actually experience the difference in call quality. A voice recorded in a high noise zone is outputted through a normal phone and then through a Crystal Talk device. The consumer can switch between the two modes freely to experience the difference which is crystal clear.

"Marketers spend most of their time building strong arguments to convince the consumer about their products. However, we are in the age of experiential communication and the digital medium offers us endless opportunities. Its biggest advantage is its interactive and experiential nature. It allows us to simply let the consumer experience the product and thus convert without us having to say a word. And the Digital Demo Zone of Crystal Talk does just that," said Mathias.

Developed by O&M Chicago and being adapted for the Indian market by O&M Delhi, the digital campaign will be supported by activation initiatives such as demos at retail outlets and youth handouts such as malls, as well as print and direct mail campaigns.
