Mirchi hires Yatish Mehrishi as cluster head and station director

Entertainment Network (India) Limited (ENIL) has appointed Yatish Mehrishi (pictured) as cluster head and station director for Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, New Delhi. He moves to the radio station from Motorola, where he was brand manager for the past three years.

Entertainment Network (India) Limited (ENIL) has appointed Yatish Mehrishi (pictured) as cluster head and station director for Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, New Delhi. He moves to the radio station from Motorola, where he was brand manager for the past three years.
 
Speaking about the appointment, Kavita Bagga, marketing head, Radio Mirchi, said, “We are delighted that our Delhi brigade is growing in terms of experienced marketing professionals. Yatish has spent a large part of his professional career with the leading brands in India. His in-depth understanding of the market and requirements in the FMCG and telecom industry will certainly prove to be a great asset for us.”

Mehrishi further added, “I am really pleased to join brand Mirchi which is not only a market leader in the private FM space but is a company that focuses on reaching out to its audience by innovation. Our immediate priority would be to develop and execute strategic business plans across all the three markets.”

Mehrishi's new role will be to focus on overall growth, that will include the responsibilities of supervising the brand growth, driving in business by beneficial brand associations and marketing initiatives to enhance Radio Mirchi’s brand value. Additionally, he will take over the challenging responsibility of strategising and directing the teams to drive in more revenue and thus increasing Radio Mirchi’s market share.
 
In his career, Mehrishi has also worked with Pepsi and Airtel. He has over 11 years of experience in managing research, creative operations, business development and strategizing.
