Mathews had founded Anthem Communications which was merged into TBWA\ and was also a director at Rage Communications

Metal Communications' Kurien Mathews passes away
Kurien Mathews, chairperson and managing director, Metal Communications, passed away on 4 October according to media reports. 
 
Mathews started his advertising career at Chaitra Advertising before moving to Ulka and then founding Anthem. Anthem was acquired by Omnicom Group and merged into TBWA\. 
 
He exited TBWA\ in 2008 and Mathews founded Metal Communications, where he was chairperson and managing director. Mathews was also a director at Rage Communications since December 2009.
