Media Mantra Group, a global PR and integrated communications agency, has appointed Saahil Anant as senior director to lead its automotive and technology communications practice. Anant brings more than 16 years of experience across journalism, corporate communications and public relations. His experience across global and Indian companies is expected to support Media Mantra Group’s growing portfolio in the automotive and technology sectors and contribute to the development of structured communication programmes for brands operating in these markets.
He began his career in journalism with Financial Chronicle, where he reported extensively on business and industry developments and interviewed senior corporate leaders. He later transitioned into corporate communications, working with companies including General Motors, Nissan and MG. Anant was also among the founding members of MG India and contributed to shaping the brand’s communication efforts during its early years in the country.
His professional background also includes work with consumer technology companies such as Samsung Electronics, Lava and OPPO. Over the course of his career, Anant has handled product communication, corporate positioning, reputation management, media relations and internal communications. He has also managed complex communication situations including factory strikes, leadership transitions and other sensitive corporate developments.
