Maxus to retain Nokia in India

GroupM's Maxus will continue to handle the Nokia account in India. Confirming the development,  Ajit Verghese, managing director, Maxus, said to Campaign India, " We are thrilled to continue as Nokia's agency in India. It is the best form of reaffirmation when the Most Trusted brand reposes its trust in Maxus."Nokia has appointed Carat to handle its global US$450 million media planning and buying account.MediaCom is expected to handle the Middle-East and North Africa businesses.

GroupM's Maxus will continue to handle the Nokia account in India. Nokia has appointed Carat to handle its global US$450 million media planning and buying account.

MediaCom is expected to handle the Middle-East and North Africa businesses.

Carat will work across all markets for Nokia from the third quarter of 2009 with the exception of India and the Middle East and North Africa.
