Maxus Mumbai has been appointed the media agency of record for Parle Products Pvt. Ltd. Incumbent agency TME, Lodestar, Madison and Karishma (Lintas) took part in the pitch."We were quite keen to handle the account since sometime and our ability to integrate the traditional and new media through 'Relationship Media' approach found favour. It was déjà vu as the jubilant Mindshare team did the victory dance on stage after being awarded Media Agency of the Year at The Advertising Club Bombay’s Emvies 2009. Mindshare won the crown for the second consecutive time after winning two golds, four silvers and six bronze metals notching up 100 points in the final tally.Mindshare struck gold for Best Media Innovation in two categories – in Events, for Wheel’s Touring Talkies Jatra and in Digital for Axe Dark Temptation.
Maxus India has won the media duties for Red Bull following a multi-agency pitch. The account size is estimated to be about Rs 20 crore.The other agencies involved in the pitch include ZenithOptimedia and Carat, according to sources.
All the 27 Vodafone ZooZoo commercials will be aired back to back in a single commercial break across 15 channels over the coming weekend (27 and 28 June).The channel mix will comprise of national channels including Colors, MAX, WB, MTV, VH1, B4U and AXN, as well as regional channels including Asianet, Asianet Plus, Manorama News, Sun News, Raj TV, Siripoli, Sakshi, Maa TV and Survana.
GroupM's Maxus will continue to handle the Nokia account in India. Maxus India has appointed Vidyadhar Kale (pictured) to the post of client leader for its largest account, Vodafone.Kale moves in from Starcom Singapore where he spent last two years working on the regional P&G business. Prior to this, Kale was with Mediacom Singapore handling Nokia’s APAC business; he was transferred to Mediacom internally from Mindshare Singapore where he spent five years working on various local, regional and global businesses such as IBM, Samsung, Unilever, and DBS Bank.
