March 2016 Agency Spotlight: McCann Worldgroup
March was a busy month for McCann Erickson as the agency was in the news for standout campaigns as well as awards.

The campaigns that impressed us included one for Reebok featuring Kangana Ranaut launched in time for Women's Day, besides a film for ParachuteAdvansed in time for Holi themed #KhulKeKheloHoli.

The agency also executed a campaign for the Radio Abbys at Goafest, which began with an online teaser. The theme was a Mumbai cabbie's adoration for a radio copywriter, ever grateful for providing him his 'only source' of entertainment.

At Adfest, McCann Erickson’s  series for Gastrina helped the agency bag seven metals, which included four Silver and three Bronze trophies. The agency’s shortlist in Film, Rudaali, for Radio Mirchi, won a Silver. This was the only Film win from India. McCann had received 18 finalists at the awards, winners of which were announced in March.

At the One Show Awards, which will be announced in May this year, McCann has 10 finalists. The agency's Mumbai office was also listed at number 27 in the top 50 agency offices worldwide by WARC.

The agency bagged three shortlists at Apac Effie Awards 2016. Winners will be announced on 21 April.

For all this, and making a symbolic participation in support of Goafest, McCann stays in focus.
