Mahesh Ranka quits Relay Worldwide

Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) India has announced the exit of Mahesh Ranka, general manager, Relay Worldwide – the sports marketing practice of the Group in India, effective from the end of February 2011.

Speaking on the development, CVL Srinivas, chairman, SMG India, said, “Mahesh has been leading the sports marketing practice at SMG under the Relay Worldwide banner for over six years. As he moves on from the organisation we wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Ranka, added, “I have had the good fortune of working with inspiring teams in creating memorable properties for our clients. I want to thank the leadership at SMG for believing in the power of sports to market brands.”

Starcom MediaVest Group will announce in due course the way forward for Relay Worldwide.
