Law & Kenneth drives off with Renault

Law & Kenneth have won the Renault business for India, fighting off Publicis Ambience and Saatchi and Saatchi in the second round of the two-tier pitch.

The agency will handle all creative duties, including digital.

Confirming the win, Praveen Kenneth, co-chairman and managing director, Law & Kenneth, said, "The team worked extraordinarily hard under the superb leadership of Anil Nair, with Sandhya Shrinivasan bringing in incisive consumer perspectives and Anil Nair Jr presenting path-breaking digital solutions. The creative team, headed by Charles, was brilliant as well. Winning Renault was important for the team and the agency and goes to prove that when you want something intensely, one has to put in extraordinary effort and then leave it to God."

Kenneth said that the win was also a demonstration that it is important to "bring inspiring work to the table, and not getting wrapped up in being creative for the sake of being creative."

There's no time for celebration though. "There's so much more hard work, fun and adventure ahead," closed Kenneth.

Law & Kenneth had, till recently, handled the Skoda account in India till they resigned on issues relating to commercial negotiations.
