Biswal joins the company with more than 20 years of experience in the consumer goods sector. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, he has worked across strategic planning, integrated marketing, digital transformation and business expansion initiatives spanning General Trade, Modern Trade, ecommerce and D2C channels.

He has also worked on strategic partnerships with digital and ecommerce platforms including Amazon, Google, Meta, Flipkart and Blinkit to strengthen digital visibility, ecommerce growth and consumer engagement. His experience in digital transformation and integrated marketing is expected to support KAI India’s focus on expanding its reach in the Indian market.
The appointment comes as KAI India continues to strengthen its footprint across the kitchenware and personal care categories. The company said Biswal’s understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends will support its plans to scale brand presence and drive growth in evolving consumer segments.
Biswal said, “KAI is a globally trusted Japanese brand with a rich legacy of over 100 years, renowned for its innovation, precision, and superior quality in the Kitchenware and Personal Care categories. As consumer aspirations continue to evolve in India, we see immense potential to offer thoughtfully designed products that combine Japanese craftsmanship with everyday functionality. KAI India operates from its manufacturing facility in Neemrana, Rajasthan, where it produces a range of kitchenware and personal care products. The company positions its offerings around Japanese technology, precision craftsmanship and product innovation.
Globally, KAI Group has a legacy of 118 years and a portfolio spanning more than 10,000 products. The company said its approach continues to focus on consumer-centric product development and expanding access to premium-quality solutions designed for changing household and lifestyle needs.
Through the appointment, KAI India aims to strengthen its marketing and ecommerce capabilities while building deeper engagement with Indian consumers across offline and digital channels.
