YouTube in partnership with the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival has created a YouTube Cannes Young Lions 48 hour long ad contest. YouTube will fly the winners of this contest to Cannes to attend the festival.

YouTube in partnership with the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival has created a YouTube Cannes Young Lions 48 hour long ad contest. YouTube will fly the winners of this contest to Cannes to attend the festival. 

On the 14th of May, at midnight (GMT), on http://www.youtube.com/canneslions, a brief will be put up. Contestants will have two days to work on the brief and need to submit their films by the 16th of May. After this they have a week's time to spread the word about their film and make it go viral. From all the entries received, they jury will pick the two best films. The winners, will be sent to Cannes and will get the opportunity to compete in the Young Lions Film Competition. All this will be free of cost, courtesy YouTube. 
 
Participants need to be between the age group of 18 and 28.
