Ipsos appoints Alexandre Boissy as deputy CEO

Ipsos strengthens its global leadership team with a senior appointment to oversee operations, communications and institutional engagement.

Ipsos has appointed Alexandre Boissy as deputy chief executive officer, effective April 7, 2026. Based in Paris, Boissy will report to Jean Laurent Poitou and join the company’s global leadership team.

In his new role, Boissy will oversee operations, the general secretariat, legal, corporate communications globally, as well as investor relations in coordination with the finance department. The mandate places a strong emphasis on organisational alignment and strategic communication, reflecting Ipsos’ focus on strengthening its global positioning and governance frameworks.

Boissy brings over two decades of leadership experience from the Air France-KLM Group, where he most recently served as executive vice-president corporate secretary. His career spans multiple leadership roles, with a focus on corporate communication, institutional relations and stakeholder engagement. He has worked closely with international stakeholders, including public institutions, the European Union, national governments and business partners, building expertise in navigating complex regulatory and communication environments.

Earlier in his career, Boissy led the data, operations research and AI team at Air France-KLM, adding a technical dimension to his strategic leadership experience. This combination of operational, technological and communications expertise aligns with Ipsos’ evolving requirements as it integrates data-driven insights with global research capabilities.

Boissy is a graduate of École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France, further reinforcing his academic grounding in engineering and analytical disciplines.

The appointment comes in the context of Ipsos’ ‘Horizons’ strategic plan, which outlines the company’s roadmap for growth and transformation. The plan emphasises strengthening global leadership, enhancing operational efficiency and expanding institutional engagement, areas that fall directly within Boissy’s remit.

Jean Laurent Poitou, ceo, Ipsos, said, "The Horizons strategic plan we presented earlier this year sets out an ambitious roadmap to strengthen Ipsos’ global leadership and accelerate our development. In this context, I am delighted to welcome Alexandre as Deputy CEO. His deep understanding of complex institutional environments and his proven leadership in periods of wide-ranging transformation will be key assets as we continue to strengthen our organisation and execute the ambitions of Horizons worldwide”.

Boissy said, "Ipsos has built a unique global position based on the quality of its expertise, its entrepreneurial culture and its long-standing relationships with clients and institutions. I am honoured to join the Group at a time when the Horizons plan is opening a new phase of development. I look forward to working with Jean Laurent Poitou and the leadership team to further strengthen Ipsos’ global operations, governance and institutional engagement, and to contribute to the successful delivery of the Group’s strategic ambitions.”

The role underscores the increasing importance of integrated corporate communication and stakeholder management in global organisations. By consolidating oversight across operations, legal and communications, Ipsos aims to create a more cohesive structure that supports its long-term strategic ambitions.
