IPL weekend knocks out STAR Plus

According to aMap data for the week ended May 11, SET MAX delivered 334 GRPs (CS 4+, NEW) compared to STAR Plus’ 302 GRPs. It is over the weekend that IPL gets a major boost ( Fri, Sat, Sun: 158 GRPs) over STAR Plus ( Fri, Sat, Sun: 96 GRPs). Other numbers for the week: Zee TV: 178 GRPs, 9X: 89 GRPs and NDTV Imagine: 80 GRPs. Interestingly, 9X continues to do hold its own against the IPL. Their weekend GRPs (Fri, Sat, Sun: 46 GRPs) are better than the weekday performance  (Mon –Thu: 43 GRPs).
