IPL: Road Block ahead

IPL’s cup of woes runneth over. After security concerns being voiced over the impending cricket series and the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India ) on Saturday, terminating the contract with Multi Screen Media (formerly Sony) over the telecast rights, it is a wait and watch situation over the fate of the series scheduled to begin from April 10. On Monday, Sony asked for a court injunction on BCCI’s decision to award the telecast rights to WSG Mauritius, who they claimed was paying a higher price than what Sony had signed up for the series.
