INNOCEAN expands India presence with Bengaluru office

The marketing communications company has opened a Bengaluru office to strengthen AI-led, data-driven and integrated marketing capabilities in India.

INNOCEAN has announced the launch of a new office in Bengaluru as part of its India expansion strategy. The move marks a significant step in strengthening the company’s nationwide footprint while building new business growth models focused on data, AI and integrated marketing solutions.

Operating across 22 countries with headquarters in Seoul, INNOCEAN said the Bengaluru office will serve as a strategic base to support business growth opportunities in India’s technology and innovation ecosystem. The office is also expected to evolve into a hub for data-led, AI-driven and content-focused business solutions.

The expansion forms part of INNOCEAN India’s broader strategy to position itself as an integrated growth platform capable of addressing changing client requirements across industries. The company said the move builds on nearly two decades of operational experience in the Indian market.

Bengaluru has emerged as a major centre for technology companies, startups and Global Capability Centers, contributing to growing demand for integrated and insight-led marketing solutions. INNOCEAN noted that increasing market fragmentation and competition are prompting brands to seek stronger consumer engagement strategies supported by data, commerce, customer experience and platform development capabilities.

As part of its expansion plans, the Bengaluru office will focus on building a hybrid business model integrating AI-driven performance solutions, predictive analytics, content and platform planning. The office will also expand its role as an offshoring service hub supporting INNOCEAN’s global network operations.

INNOCEAN entered India in 2005 and has since expanded its integrated marketing offerings across strategy, creative, digital, social, content, customer experience and production. The company said it now plans to further grow capabilities across content IP, commerce and platform businesses.

The company also highlighted India’s expanding advertising market, citing global forecasts projecting ad spend to reach USD 13.8 billion in 2025, followed by continued growth in 2026 and 2027.

Santosh Kumar, coo, INNOCEAN India, said, “The launch of our Bengaluru office is a strategic milestone that reflects both our journey of continuous reinvention and our ambition to scale AI-led, data-driven marketing capabilities across sectors. While automotive remains a strong foundation, our work today spans multiple high-growth sectors, from FMCG and D2C to healthcare and digital-native brands with solutions driven by insights and outcomes. This expansion also strengthens our ability to deliver localized, insight-led regional campaigns for Hyundai and Kia, ensuring greater agility and proximity in key markets.”

JungA Kim, gCEO of INNOCEAN, added, “India is a strategically critical market within INNOCEAN’s global network and a land of immense future opportunity. The launch of our Bengaluru office is not merely a geographic expansion, but a pivotal milestone in our evolution beyond a traditional agency into new business domains. We aim to build a global-local integrated growth model that extends beyond India to the Asia, Middle East, and Africa regions, positioning ourselves as a true growth partner for our clients.”

INNOCEAN India ranked among the top 10 brand marketing agencies by revenue in 2023 and currently services around 20 major clients in the country, including Hyundai Motor and Kia. The company recently managed Hyundai Motor’s branding as the master agency for sports sponsorship marketing at the 2026 ICC Cricket World Cup.
