InMobi has acquired MobileAction, an AI-driven iOS growth platform, in a move aimed at strengthening its global advertising and performance marketing capabilities. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in San Francisco, MobileAction specialises in AI-powered app analytics, Apple Ads optimisation and App Store discoverability solutions. The platform is widely used by app developers and marketers to improve visibility and performance across iOS ecosystems.
The acquisition enhances InMobi Advertising’s ability to support brands in acquiring new app users through both organic growth and AI-led optimisation. It also strengthens the company’s broader ecosystem by integrating MobileAction’s capabilities with its agentic commerce platform, Glance, enabling a combined offering across commerce and advertising use cases.
MobileAction serves global brands and app publishers including Google, Meta, DoorDash, Square, Zalando, Playtika and Priceline.
The platform provides access to datasets covering over 90 million creatives, 6 million keywords, 5 million apps, 100,000 publishers and 500,000 advertisers, enabling marketers to optimise app discovery and performance at scale.
Rohit Dosi, vice president and general manager, InMobi, said, “As the advertising ecosystem shifts toward AI-led intelligence and platform-native expertise, marketers need partners who can deliver both scale and precision. MobileAction's AI-powered platform and leadership in helping marketers drive growth for their apps makes this a highly strategic addition to InMobi Advertising. Together, we're better positioned to help marketers and brands drive sustainable, intelligent growth in an agentic world.”
Aykut Karaalioglu, founder and ceo, MobileAction, said, “Joining InMobi marks an exciting next chapter for MobileAction. I look forward to partnering with Rohit, and I am confident our shared vision for the future of agentic AI-driven advertising — spanning innovation, data-driven decision-making, and customer impact — will allow us to accelerate our roadmap and deliver even greater value to marketers worldwide.”
Following the acquisition, MobileAction will continue to operate as a standalone platform while its teams across the United States, Europe and Turkey join the InMobi Group. InMobi plans to invest further in product development and global expansion, with a focus on markets including the US, APAC and MENA.
The acquisition reflects increasing consolidation in the AI-driven advertising and app growth ecosystem, where platforms are integrating analytics, optimisation and commerce capabilities to support performance marketing at scale.
