Greenply Industries Limited has introduced what it describes as India’s first 20-year warranty for its Greenply 710 HDMR HDF Board, expanding its offering in the engineered wood and interior infrastructure category.
The launch is aimed at strengthening the brand’s positioning around durability, reliability and long-term product performance for residential and commercial interior applications.
According to the company, the warranty-backed product has been designed to address increasing demand among architects, interior designers, contractors and homeowners for engineered wood solutions that combine aesthetics with structural performance and moisture resistance.
Greenply said the HDF category has evolved significantly over the past decade, becoming a preferred material choice for modular furniture, modern interiors and precision-based applications across Indian homes and commercial spaces.
The Greenply 710 HDMR HDF Board has been engineered for use across modular kitchens, wardrobes, office workstations, bathroom vanities, wall panelling, retail fixtures and decorative interior applications.
The company highlighted several product features including moisture-resistant performance suited for kitchens and high-humidity environments, enhanced screw-holding capability for cabinetry and modular furniture, and compatibility with laminates, veneers, paints and decorative finishes.
Greenply also stated that the board is BIS-certified and built using a uniform microfibre structure intended to deliver consistent strength, finish retention and long-term stability.
The product is powered by PROD-IQ NEO TECH, a German technology developed in collaboration with Siempelkamp. According to the company, the technology helps maintain structural consistency and durability under varying environmental conditions.
Sanidhya Mittal, joint managing director, Greenply Industries Limited, said, “This 20-year warranty is more than just a commitment. It reflects the confidence we have in Greenply 710 HDMR, engineered to withstand changing trends, everyday wear, and the test of time, so customers never have to compromise between aesthetics and long-lasting durability.”
Greenply said the product has also been developed to improve fabrication and installation efficiency for contractors and fabricators through cleaner cuts, reduced chipping and easier machining.
The company added that the board supports detailed routing and seamless finishing requirements for architects and interior designers working across premium residential and commercial projects.
As part of the launch communication, Greenply has also released an official product video showcasing the manufacturing technology and product applications.
The move reflects increasing competition within the engineered wood and modular interiors market, where brands are focusing on technology-led manufacturing, long-term warranties and product performance as key differentiators.
Greenply Industries Limited currently operates five manufacturing facilities across India and offers products including plywood, HDF, block boards, flush doors, veneers, PVC and flooring solutions.
