Goafest 2016: Mindshare India dominates Media Abbys with 17 metals, including two Golds

The Social Street bags two Gold Abbys; Cheil, Isobar, Maxus, Mindshare Sri Lanka, Msix, OMD, PHD one each

Goafest 2016: Mindshare India dominates Media Abbys with 17 metals, including two Golds
Mindshare India bagged a total of 17 metals at the Media Abbys on day one of Goafest 2016. The tally consisted of two Gold, six Silver and nine Bronze metals. 
 
The Gold wins were for 'Lakme Lip Pouts in Grazia - Playtime for your pout' for Lakme in the 'Best use of Newspapers and Magazines' category and for 'Before Iftar Time, it's Lifebuoy time' for Lifebuoy in the 'Best use of Integrated Campaign' category.
 
The Social Street also bagged two Gold metals, both for Britannia Good Day. One was for 'The Slide of smiles' in the 'Best use of Ambient Media' category, the  other for 'Smile to be surprised' in the 'Best use of Outdoor' category. The agency also bagged two Silvers. 
 
Maxus bagged a total of seven metals, one of which was Gold for LinkedIn's 'Get a Job' in the 'Youth Marketing' category. The metal haul also consisted of two Silver and four Bronze metals.
 
Msix won a Gold and two Silver Abbys. The Gold win was for 'The 'Quit Smoking' partner for ISL' for Nicotex. 
 
PHD India won three metals, a Gold, Silver and Bronze. The Gold win was for 'Lo Kar Lo Baat' for Active Wheel in the 'Best use of Mobile Media' category.
 
OMD bagged a Gold and Bronze. The Gold was for 'Kinder Joy Story Station' for Kinder Joy in the 'Best use of Branded Content' category.
 
Cheil India, Isobar India and Mindshare Sri Lanka also bagged a Gold each on the night which saw 77 metals being awarded across categories in the Media Abbys.
 
Cheil's win was for the 'Samsung Galaxy S6 Search Campaign' in the 'Best use of Digital as a medium' category. Isobar's Gold was for 'Say Na' in the 'Pro Bono Marketing' category. Mindshare Sri Lanka bagged Gold for 'Light Up My Nation' for Sunlight in the 'Best Use of Integrated Campaign - South Asia' category.
 
1,014 entries were sent this year, compared to last year's 674.
