GBM Studios unveils integrated entertainment ecosystem

GBM Studios has launched a multi-vertical entertainment ecosystem combining talent development, production and post-production services under one structure.

Mumbai-based GBM Studios, founded by Dharmesh Sangani, has introduced an integrated entertainment ecosystem aimed at supporting emerging talent across the entertainment industry. The initiative brings together education, production and post-production services through three creative verticals — Shekhar Suman Film Academy, Madrigal Studios and Sangani Brothers.

The company said the ecosystem has been designed to address the challenges faced by aspiring actors, filmmakers, technicians, writers and creators in accessing training, mentorship and industry opportunities within a single framework. Through the integrated structure, GBM Studios aims to provide a collaborative environment where talent can learn, create and gain practical exposure across multiple stages of content development.

As part of the broader vision, Sangani has also supported the revival of Shekhar Suman’s talk show legacy with 'Shekhar Tonite'. The show is scheduled to launch on May 15, 2026, and forms part of the company’s wider focus on storytelling-led entertainment platforms.

The already operational Shekhar Suman Film Academy will serve as the training and mentorship arm of the ecosystem. According to the company, the academy has been created to offer aspiring actors industry exposure and practical opportunities alongside classroom learning. The curriculum has been developed to prepare students for opportunities across films, OTT platforms and emerging storytelling formats.

GBM Studios stated that selected students from the academy will also get opportunities to work on projects developed by Sangani Brothers. The production company will function as the content development arm of the ecosystem, focusing on films and original programming while creating opportunities for new talent entering the industry.

The ecosystem also includes Madrigal Studios, which will manage creative and technical services including VFX, music, editing and post-production. By housing these capabilities within one structure, GBM Studios aims to streamline the production process for creators and production teams while enabling collaboration across departments.

The company said the integrated approach is intended to simplify content creation by providing multiple creative services within a single ecosystem. It also seeks to create a clearer pathway for emerging talent to transition from training to professional opportunities.

Speaking about the vision behind GBM Studios, Sangani said, “With GBM, we want to build a space where aspiring artists, filmmakers, technicians, and storytellers are not just trained, but truly guided as they take their first steps into the industry. Through Shekhar Suman Film Academy, especially, we hope to guide passionate newcomers towards the right opportunities and real industry exposure. As Shekhar ji has always said, acting cannot simply be taught. It has to be discovered from within. With GBM Studios, our effort is to nurture that discovery while also creating an environment where talent feels seen, supported, and prepared for the realities of the industry.”

Looking ahead, GBM Studios is planning international expansion through global collaborations focused on creating wider opportunities for Indian talent and storytelling. The company said its long-term objective is to build a connected and professionally structured ecosystem that supports creativity across education, production and content execution.
