Cannes Lions launches new photography initiative called CannesAlso

Cannes Lions has launced a new initiative called CannesAlso. The initiative is a free-to-enter exhibition of photography that has been created for the creative community. Anyone who's interested in photography, be it a beginner to a semi-professional, can enter up to three pieces into CannesAlso.

Selected photographs will be showcased at the advertising festival this year in the form of the world's biggest book. CannesAlso has partnered with The Brand Union, Lambie-Nairn, Getty Images and Clear Channel to launch the initiative and the exhibition will be held outside the Palais des Festivals in Cannes during the week.

The deadline for submission of all entries is 29 April 2011. Before submitting any photographs, an account will need to be created with Cannes Lions.

All the work entered will be judged by world-famous photographer Rankin.
