Breaking news: Rameet Arora quits Colors to join McDonald's

Rameet Arora, marketing head of Colors, has put in his papers.Arora joined Colors' founding team in April 2008 and since then has spearheaded the marketing for the channel, overseeing all the marketing verticals – trade as well as consumer. He will be serving his notice period over the next 3 months.

Breaking news: Rameet Arora quits Colors to join McDonald's

Rameet Arora, marketing head of Colors, has put in his papers.

Arora joined Colors' founding team in April 2008 and since then has spearheaded the marketing for the channel, overseeing all the marketing verticals – trade as well as consumer. He will be serving his notice period over the next 3 months.

His next assignment is at McDonald's where he is joining as senior director.

Speaking about the development, Rajesh Kamat, CEO, Colors and group COO – Viacom18 said, "Over the last 20 months, Rameet's passion and experience has not only driven Colors to become one of the most recalled brands in a short span of time but also helped position many of its shows uniquely in the entertainment space." He further added, "As he moves on to a fresh challenge, I wish him all the luck."

Commenting on his association with Colors, Arora said, "The last two years when I have been associated with Colors have been a period of immense professional and personal growth for me. I was privileged to have had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest minds in Indian television. The work itself has been extremely exciting and together we have achieved a lot."
