Breaking news: Ambareesh Chakraborty joins RK Swamy BBDO

Ambareesh Chakraborty (pictured) has joined RK Swamy BBDO as principal consultant. Chakraborty comes from TBWA India where he was working as senior creative director and creative head - West. Speaking about the appointment, Sangeetha N, president (W) and executive creative director, RK Swamy BBDO said, "RK Swamy BBDO is known for producing great results for its clients. Our creativity revolves around moving the consumers to make a purchase decision for the brands we work on. Ambareesh joining us will surely augment our creative offering.”

Before TBWA India, Chakraborty has had stints with Ogilvy & Mather in India and Sri Lanka. His last assignment with Ogilvy was as head of creative at Phoenix Ogilvy & Mather, Sri Lanka before returning to India in 2008. In Sri Lanka, he has worked on brands such as Lion Beer, DHL, Ceylinco Insurance, NDB Bank, Smithkline Beecham and Coca-Cola, amongst others.
