After the latest #BoycottManyavar that took off on Twitter, netizens are back to the social trend, this time to donn sentiments against actor Shah Rukh Khan with #Boycott_SRK_Related_Brands.
At some point on 10 October, the hashtag made it to the top five Twitter trends.
Khan has found himself in the hate zone of the Twitterati which called for a boycott of not just him, but all the brands that he's endorsed.
The move took flight after ed-tech platform Byju's reportedly put off its association with Khan temporarily, post his son's arrest in a drug case.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has reported an alleged drugs party on the Cordelia Cruise ship, which left from Mumbai and was on its way to Goa.
A lot of users were disappointed with brands that have ties with Khan and some even went ahead to morally shame the actor for being associated with brands that are meant for educating children.

Users also flooded the platform with a good riddance call for a list of brands that Khan was associated with, including Big Basket, Hyundai India, ICICI Bank, Reliance Jio, Dubai Tourism, among others.

On the other hand, some users harboured more hate towards the actor for being photographed with Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan, labelling him 'anti-national' and a 'traitor'.

However, users also came out in support of the actor and spoke against the ongoing boycott trend. The actor's son Aryan Khan was one of the 19 people that have been arrested in the drugs case, so far.
