Big FM appoints sales head, announces promotions

Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (RBNL) has announced a key appointment and promotions in the sales team of Big FM.

Nitin Jain, previously national head - corporate agents, brokers and banks, Aegon Religare, has been appointed national sales head. Jain has also worked at Maruti, Airtel, and Max Life Insurance in a career spanning 15 years.
Ashwin Padmanabhan, business head - West and South until now, has been promoted as business head of the radio station network.

Other promotions effected are Shalini Dureja (as VP, head - impact sales, West and South), Kiran Thangarajan (cluster head, Tamil Nadu and Kerala), Charanjeet Arora (regional business head - UP, MP, Bihar, Jharkhand and Rajasthan) and Sanjeev Sharma, (national head - government business, for TV and radio).

On the new appointment and promotions, Tarun Katial, CEO, Reliance Broadcast Network, said, “As the radio business continues to dominate key markets across India, we feel the need to streamline business divisions to derive maximum value within us. We are confident that these moves will help us transform into a more holistic radio business and see us achieving better growth in the near future.”
