Aussie court allows solicitor to serve notices via Facebook

An Australian court has approved the use of Facebook to serve a legally binding document on a couple that defaulted on a six-figure housing loan.The Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court approved solicitor Mark McCormack's application to use the social networking site to serve a foreclosure notice on the couple following several failed attempts to contact them at home and by email.
