Well, this is it. Goafest kicks off today. The Discovery channel sponsored Conclave is the big ticket and the speakers arrive by various flights during the day.

Good to have the rest till the afternoon after a long and tiring day yesterday. Went from the Leela to the Park to catch up with Colvyn Harris and Neeraj Nayar for a beer or seven. Bumped into Rahul Johri who joined us for three.

Jim (James) came over to the Park after finishing with a meeting and the whole lot went to the Radisson (which is no longer the Radisson, it's good to remember; it’s now Zuri) to catch a beer with the Group M batalllion who were unwinding after a long day.

Many beers and a few Old Monks. Always interesting to drink with a small group of people who are responsible for half the AdEx of the country.

Despite the alcohol loosening tongues, none of the worthies hinted at the winners of the Media Abbys, so I’m still clueless.

Will have to wait for the official results or the ‘traditional’ scoop in the ET, which ever comes first.
