Adgcraft organised a masterclass titled ‘Own The Room’ as part of its #Adgcrafttalks series, in collaboration with NACK Studios. The session focused on strengthening communication skills in professional settings, with an emphasis on clarity, presence and audience engagement.
The session was led by Aakanksha Kulkarni, ceo and founder at NACK Studios, who brings over 15 years of experience as an architect and interior designer. Kulkarni has led large-scale architectural and interior projects across India, including PAN-India laboratory rollouts and the delivery of more than 1,100 retail showrooms, alongside luxury and wellness interior projects recognised for innovation and client-focused execution.
The masterclass explored the fundamentals of effective communication, focusing on how professionals can ‘own the room’ by using body language, presence and structured thinking. The session highlighted techniques to capture attention and convey ideas with clarity and purpose, positioning communication as a key skill in workplace interactions.
Participants were introduced to structured approaches for organising thoughts and delivering messages with confidence. The session also addressed how communication impacts everyday professional scenarios, including meetings, collaborations and team discussions. By focusing on both verbal and non-verbal elements, the training aimed to improve not only how ideas are presented but also how they are received and retained by audiences.
The discussion further examined how intentional communication can enhance engagement, ensuring that ideas are understood and remembered. The session aligned with broader industry trends where communication skills are increasingly viewed as essential for leadership, collaboration and client-facing roles.
Abhinay Kumar Singh, founder and managing director at Adgcraft, said, “Good ideas don’t go far if people don’t understand or remember them. That’s what this session focused on: how to make communication clearer, sharper, and more effective in real situations. The team got practical ways to structure their thoughts and deliver them with confidence. At Adgcraft, we see continuous learning as a core driver of growth, and sessions like these play a crucial role in shaping more aware and impactful professionals. We truly value the perspective Aakanksha brought in, making the learning both practical and immediately relevant to our everyday work.”
Kulkarni added, "It was really incredible to connect with such an engaging and energetic team at Adgcraft! I had a great time interacting and sharing my insights and experiences with them. The session focused on simple ways to clarify ideas, hold attention, and speak with confidence. Think of communication like design: if the structure isn’t clear, if you haven’t practiced it, the message gets lost. What stood out here was how actively everyone participated."
The #Adgcrafttalks series is part of Adgcraft’s broader focus on continuous learning and professional development. The initiative is designed to provide employees with access to industry expertise, practical tools and real-world insights that can be applied in day-to-day roles.
Each session within the series incorporates hands-on learning elements, enabling participants to translate theory into practice. By investing in such programmes, Adgcraft aims to build capabilities across its workforce, ensuring teams remain aligned with evolving industry expectations and communication standards.
The initiative reflects a focus on internal capability building as a driver of client impact. Strengthening communication skills within teams supports more effective storytelling, clearer client engagement and improved delivery across campaigns and mandates.
