Abundantia Entertainment has announced its latest AI-driven feature film, Jai Santoshi Mata: Sukh Sampatti Daata, scheduled for release in 2026. The project will be developed under Abundantia aiON, the studio’s newly launched creative division dedicated to integrating AI tools into the filmmaking process. Script development is currently underway.
The film aims to narrate the story of Santoshi Mata, one of India’s most revered Goddesses, known for symbolising contentment, fulfilment and gentle strength. Considered the Protector of Households and the Goddess of Wishes, Santoshi Mata is associated with bringing peace, harmony and solutions to life’s challenges. The film intends to communicate her enduring cultural significance and the devotion she inspires among millions of followers, especially women.
Vikram Malhotra, founder and ceo of Abundantia Entertainment, says: "It is divine grace that we have the opportunity to tell the amazing story of Santoshi Mata for millions of her devotees all over the world. Jai Santoshi Mata: Sukh Sampatti Daata is the next step in our journey to craft cinema that honours Indian tradition, embraces innovation, and opens new horizons for storytelling. At Abundantia aiON, we’re working with a brilliant team of directors, writers and engineers who share our belief that creativity thrives when human imagination is empowered by artificial intelligence."
Abundantia positions itself as one of the first Indian studios to embed AI across the filmmaking lifecycle, viewing AI as a tool that enhances narrative development, design and visualisation. Abundantia aiON’s guiding principle—‘Human First. AI Empowered.’—reflects its approach to balancing technology with emotional authenticity and cultural depth.
The announcement follows Abundantia’s earlier collaboration with Collective Artists Network on Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal, described as India’s first ‘made-in-AI’ film and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. Due for release in 2026, that film sets the stage for Jai Santoshi Mata: Sukh Sampatti Daata, which continues the studio’s exploration of how AI can support ambitious, culturally rooted storytelling.
