0101.Today launches GenZ Martech Circle initiative

0101.Today introduces a peer-led community platform to amplify young marketers’ voices and reshape industry dialogue around martech and data.

0101.Today has launched GenZ Martech Circle, a community-led initiative aimed at creating a dedicated platform for Gen Z and early-career professionals working across marketing, growth, CRM, product, data and technology. The move responds to a growing gap in industry conversations, where practitioners closest to execution often lack representation in mainstream forums.

As marketing becomes increasingly shaped by data, automation and martech platforms, the initiative highlights a structural imbalance in knowledge exchange. While younger professionals are actively managing campaigns, analysing performance data and driving experimentation, industry discourse continues to be dominated by senior-led panels, keynote sessions and curated case studies. This has limited opportunities for peer-led, experience-driven discussions.

GenZ Martech Circle is positioned as an alternative to these formats, focusing on participation and open dialogue rather than formal presentations. The platform has been designed as a ‘no-selling, no-pitch, no-promotion’ environment, ensuring that conversations remain centred on practical insights, real-world challenges and day-to-day work experiences. By removing hierarchical barriers, the initiative aims to enable more candid and relevant exchanges among practitioners.

Ajay Verma, managing partner, 0101.Today, said, “A lot of the real experimentation in marketing today is happening with professionals early in their careers who are working hands-on with data, platforms, and emerging technologies. Yet they rarely have spaces where their perspectives shape industry conversations. GenZ Martech Circle is designed to give this generation that platform where they can exchange ideas openly and collectively build the future of marketing.”

From a marketing and industry standpoint, the initiative reflects a broader shift towards decentralised knowledge-sharing models. As martech ecosystems become more complex, peer learning and collaborative problem-solving are emerging as critical tools for capability building, particularly among younger professionals navigating rapidly evolving tools and platforms.

The community will focus on key areas including data-driven marketing, growth experimentation, CRM strategy, digital media and the role of technology in shaping customer experience. These focus areas align closely with the operational responsibilities of early-career professionals, reinforcing the platform’s relevance to its target audience.

Nitika Khanna, director – martech, 0101.Today, said, “Marketing today sits at the intersection of data, technology, and customer experience. Young marketers are already working across these areas every day as they manage CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and digital growth initiatives. GenZ Martech Circle creates a space where they can learn from each other, share real experiences, and build stronger thinking around modern martech practices.”

The first GenZ Martech Circle gathering is scheduled to take place in Mumbai, bringing together a curated group of 40 young professionals for a discussion-led session. The limited participant format is intended to encourage deeper engagement and meaningful exchange, rather than large-scale networking.

Envisioned as a long-term initiative, GenZ Martech Circle will continue to host similar sessions, building a community-driven ecosystem focused on collaboration and continuous learning. Participation is free, reinforcing its positioning as an accessible and inclusive platform.

Overall, the initiative signals a shift in how industry conversations are being structured, with increasing emphasis on practitioner-led insights and community-driven engagement. For the marketing and martech ecosystem, GenZ Martech Circle represents an effort to democratise dialogue and bring operational voices closer to the centre of industry discourse.
