'When you have a dream to chase, nothing can stop you': Gatorade and Lionel Messi's mantra

Gatorade has rolled out a four minute film featuring brand ambassador, Lionel Messi ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2018.

The film titled 'Heart of a Lio' was conceptualised by TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles.

The animated film shows the Argentinean and Barcelona star growing up. It begins with Messi scoring across junior levels. Then there's a set back, as a doctor informs him he has a growth defect.

He's disappointed, but takes it in his stride and goes on to chase his dream of being a world beater. Scoring goals consistently for his local club in Argentina, Newell Old Boys made FC Barcelona scouts take notice of Messi. A move to Spain soon materialised and Messi continued to weave his magic.

The film goes on to show Messi from the 2014 World Cup and a chance he missed in the final against Germany. The chance ended up costing the team as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Germany. There's doubt in his mind again about his ability.

The voice over says something Messi heard in his younger days: 'When you have a dream to chase, nothing can stop you'.

Four years later, he has the chance to prove he's the 'greatest' at the FIFA World Cup.
