Vivo IPL prepares for 10th edition by celebrating its fans

Watch the ad film conceptualised by DDB Mudra here

The anthem for this season’s Vivo IPL has been rolled out. The anthem, which celebrates the tenth edition of the tournament has been conceptualised by DDB Mudra.

The film which goes on-air later today shows people from across the country react to moments from the tournament.

A shopkeeper celebrates by handing over drinks to children following their team winning. Then, women in a beauty parlour react to a moment in a game. A father fails in tying his daughter’s hair because he’s consumed by a match on TV. Another shot shows friends sitting in the same position due to a superstition, before jumping in glee to celebrate a win. Three children, who are punished outside a class, look to hide their jersey below the shirt they’re wearing to escape further punishment as their teacher walks past. The latter spots the T-shirts, but decides against punishing them and instead shows them the same jersey below his shirt. The film ends with celebrations on the street and the message ’10 saal aapke naam’ (ten years, because of you).
