Edelweiss Mutual Fund shows the power of simple advice

Watch the film conceptualised by the in-house team here

Adding another branch to its #AdviceZarooriHai series, Edelweiss Mutual fund has launched an
investor education film this New Year, emphasising the multiplier effect of good advice.

This film tells the tale of Sarita Rai, a law graduate from Patna University. She rejected offers from reputed firms to chase a dream ignited by her fourth grade teacher’s advice to make Bihar the state with the highest literacy in India.

The film highlights the power of a teacher’s simple advice, which goes way beyond working for mere monetary gains to helping others in need. Rai dedicates her entire life to deliver primary education to children who couldn’t afford school. The campaign was conceptualised internally, along with the brand's content partner Josh Talks.

Radhika Gupta, MD and CEO, Edelweiss Asset Management, said, “Education plays a crucial role in shaping one’s thinking and fine-tuning the way one reacts to a given situation. Just as the film highlights a chain reaction triggered by good advice, as a brand, we focus on educating our investors, empowering them with the right knowledge to make informed investment decisions, with the help of trustworthy financial advisors.”
