Argos "The book of dreams"

Watch the film conceptualised by The & Partnership London here

A father and daughter conjure up an epic rock concert in Argos' joyful Christmas ad.

Created by The & Partnership London, the three-minute film is soundtracked by 1985 hit Don’t You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds, famous for its use in teen classic The Breakfast Club. After a dad sees his daughter has circled a junior drum kit in the Argos catalogue, the gift bursts out of the ground and the man begins to play, his home transforming into a stage. When his daughter appears, he invites her to join on a second set of drums and the scene evolves into a full live show, complete with a cheering crowd. The work was created by Ludo Thomas and Arthur Harry, and directed by Traktor through Stink.
