Raj Nair exits Garage Worldwide as chief creative officer

Raj Nair has stepped down as Chief Creative Officer at Garage Worldwide, according to media reports. He joined the agency in May 2024 after serving over seven years as CEO and Chief Creative Officer at Madison BMB. With more than three decades in advertising, Nair has worked on brands including Cadbury, Tata Indicom, HSBC, Asian Paints and Bajaj Auto during his 18-year tenure at Contract Advertising. He has also served on juries at creative festivals such as Cannes Lions, Ad Stars Korea and the Abbys.

Sindhuu Govindarajan joins Tata Consumer Products as marketing-VP

Sindhuu Govindarajan has left Hindustan Unilever Limited, where she was Brand Director for Surf Excel, South Asia, to join Tata Consumer Products Limited as Vice President – Marketing in the Foods division. At HUL, she played a key role in leading the Surf Excel brand strategy across South Asia. Before joining HUL, Govindarajan held senior marketing roles at Reckitt and Procter & Gamble, bringing extensive experience across India’s consumer goods sector.

Bold & Beyond expands leadership with new strategy and PR heads

Bold & Beyond has strengthened its leadership team with the appointments of Rashmil Dheer as Chief Strategy Officer and Nupur Kothari as Public Relations Director. The move aims to support the agency’s integrated marketing operations across PR, influencer, branding, content and digital. Established four years ago, Bold & Beyond has expanded its client portfolio and national footprint. The new structure is intended to reinforce its strategic capabilities and prepare for further domestic and international growth.

Aakarsh Gupta promoted as global operations head at Nas Daily

Nas Daily has promoted Aakarsh Gupta from Executive Producer to Head of Operations (Global). In his new role, Gupta will oversee 1000 Media, Nas Daily’s sister company managing brand content and social media. Over the past three years, he has led teams producing projects in over 50 countries and driven the company’s major storytelling initiatives. Before joining Nas Daily, Gupta worked with Netflix, National Geographic, Dubai Tourism and Indian tourism boards.

Infectious Advertising appoints Smriti Tewari as Business Head

Infectious Advertising has named Smriti Tewari as Business Head. With over 13 years of experience in advertising and marketing, Tewari has worked across categories including automobiles, FMCG, fashion, real estate, and financial services. Her previous stints include Ogilvy, FCB, The Minimalist and VML. In her new role, Tewari will focus on strengthening client relationships and driving growth for the independent agency.
