Shifting from Law & Kenneth, he fills role vacated by Dip Sengupta in July

Samir Datar joins Grey Delhi as VP and branch head

Grey India has appointed Samir Datar as vice president and branch head of its Delhi office. He joins from Law & Kenneth, moving in place of Dip Sengupta who exited the agency in July. Datar will report to Jishnu Sen, CEO and president, Grey India.

On the development, Sen said, “Samir and I go back a long way, he is a both an excellent advertising professional and a great leader. I am thrilled that he has agreed to come aboard. I am sure that he will lead our Delhi operation to great heights.

Datar added, “Delhi is a very challenging market when it comes to advertising. I am absolutely excited about joining Grey Worldwide and take on the challenge to grow the operations in Delhi.”

In his career of two decades, Datar has also worked at JWT, Cheil and GIIR.
