Sai Nagesh quits Dentsu Media

Sai Nagesh, executive vice president and executive business officer, Dentsu Media has put in his papers at the agency. When contacted, Nagesh confirmed the development but declined to share further details. It is understood that he will be serving his notice period which ends by the first week of August.

Nagesh had joined Dentsu Media as chief growth officer in July 2009. With over 24 years of experience in the media space, Nagesh has earlier worked with INX Media, Group M, Contract Advertising and MAA Communications Bozell in various capacities.

It is also reliably learnt from other sources that a few major accounts at the agency including Aircel  are up for a review. Recently, in May 2011, Dentsu Media had lost the Honda Siel Cars India account to ZenithOptimedia.
