Red Fuse elevates Shubha George as managing director for Asia

This will be in addition to her current role of CEO, India; she replaces Jason Oke, who has moved to Paris

Red Fuse elevates Shubha George as managing director for Asia
Red Fuse Communications has announced the elevation of Shubha George to the role of managing director – Asia. George will continue with her current role of CEO, India, and will be based in Mumbai. She will continue reporting to Stephen Forcione, global CEO of the WPP outfit dedicated to Colgate-Palmolive.
 
The previous regional MD for Asia was Jason Oke, who is credited with setting up Red Fuse Communications in Asia in 2012, and has since moved to Paris, also with Red Fuse.
 
George said, “Working with Colgate-Palmolive and the Red Fuse teams at both Mumbai and Hong Kong has been a truly rewarding experience; and with my new responsibilities, I look forward excitedly to contribute to Colgate-Palmolive’s success in the region by efficiently and creatively cross-pollinating ideas and processes across and between, people and offices.” 
 
Prior to joining Red Fuse, George was CEO at MEC India. She has also worked with Ogilvy and J. Walter Thompson.
