OgilvyOne appoints Rachna Sharma to head Bangalore office

OgilvyOne has roped in Rachna Sharma to head its Bangalore office. Sharma joins from Pinstorm, where she was associate vice president - business development at Delhi.

At OgilvyOne, she will be responsible for growing the business out of the agency's Bangalore office. Commenting on her appointment, Sharma told Campaign India, "Ogilvy already has a legacy of being a great advertising agency. The agency's management is convinced of the need to go completely digital in both their approach to communications for OgilvyOne's clients as well those of Ogilvy India's. That makes it an absolutely winning combination."

Sharma will be working on OgilvyOne's clients such as IBM, Manipal University, Titan Industries, Vodafone and she is looking forward to tapping a vast pool of clients in the city. "Bangalore is an IT hub with a high number of businesses which depend on the web for their existence and therefore we can compliment their requirements on digital media," she said.

Prior to Pinstorm, Sharma was with Times Internet. She has previously worked with Contract Advertising, Mudra, Outlook Group, ABP Group of Publications in addition to a three year stint in Toronto for an online classifieds company, Yellow.ca.
