Magnon Solutions bags Haier’s social media duties

Magnon Solutions has furthered its association with Haier Applications by bagging the social media duties for the brand. Following the development, Magnon Solutions will manage social media duties for the brand, besides its current mandate including website creation, maintenance, search optimisation and hosting solutions.

Magnon Solutions was hired by Haier in 2008 to develop the company's official website. It is credited with getting Haier started in the social space.

On choosing Magnon Solutions for Haier’s social media services, Shanta Roy Sanjeev, head of marketing, Haier India, said, “The consumer durable market in India is extremely competitive. To retain our edge, we need to listen to our customers and increasingly connect with them by opening new customer touch-points. This becomes a business critical feature for a market as huge as ours. Magnon was a more obvious choice for us, not just because of the years of experience but also the full spectrum digital experience that it offers.”

Vineet Bajpai, chief executive officer and founder, Magnon Solutions, said, “Haier is a global brand with a local focus for its marketing strategy. Hence, the objective will be to retain the global appeal of the brand while offering a local connect. Our efforts at Magnon will be to enhance the overall interaction between the brand and its customers.”
