Funeral for John Furtado at 3.30pm today

John Furtado, known to many in the media planning and buying space, passed away on March 21 as a result of pneumonia-related complications. He was 45.

The funeral details are as follows:

Burial at St. Blaise Church, Amboli, Andheri (West), on March 23, 2011 at 4 PM sharp. The funeral will leave residence at 3:30pm sharp.

Residence Address: Nirmal Bldg., Flat 11-B, Plot no. 26, Jay Prakash Road, Andheri (West), Mumbai 400 058.

John was working on the Emami and Zandu brands as a strategic media planning and buying consultant

Previously at Whitespace communications, he was responsible for new business, pitching and winning against large agencies.
John had earlier been with Mode, TBWA Anthem, Rediffusion Y&R and Mudra Communication.

John was a popular buyer, the favourite of both client and media salesperson, ensuring a fair deal to both, which resulted in long-lasting relationships.

John Furtado, RIP.
