Cannes Lions: India gets one silver, one bronze in Press Lions

India has won a silver and a bronze in the Press category at Cannes Lions 2009. O&M has won a silver for its “Diver”, “Tourist” and “Cave-Man” for Perfetti Van Melle’s (PVM) Sour Marble Candies. See one of the ads (Cave-Man) here:

Rediffusion Y&R has won a bronze for “Engineer”, “Housewife” and “Tourist” for Bharti Airtel’s mobile phone data back-up service.

India had a total of four shortlists in the category.  Apart from the winners, O&M’s “Chicken-Goat” for GSK’s Eno and McCann Erickson’s “Fish” and “Cigar” for PVM’s Chlormint were shortlisted.
