Believe your entry deserves a Lion? Send us the work and the case

Cannes Contenders: FCB Ulka, Interface
How much time really does a Cannes juror get to understand a case or piece of work s/he hasn't come across before? Too little. It's up to us to help them get acquainted with the good work prior.     While we do that through the year, this Riviera season we have decided to go the extra mile to celebrate the contenders.

We present here entries from Indian / South Asian agencies that their creators believe will be in contention for Lions at the 2016 International Festival of Creativity, Cannes.

FCB Interface has one contender.

Naming Streets After Street Kids – Inspiring Schooling
Categories: Promo, Outdoor

‘The world’s first streets named after street kids’ is an initiative to inspire kids in Mumbai’s slums to stay in school. Rooted in the insight that they tend to veer towards crime given the perceived fame associated with it, FCB Interface came up with the idea of making them famous for excelling in school. Client Door Step School named the streets in the locality after children who did well and rewarded their parents too. The activity continues.

FCB Ulka has four contenders

Pixarom
Category: Outdoor

The intent was to highlight to a niche audience of art directors and photographers the image retouching capabilities of the Malaysian post-production studio.

Joyville Homes

The campaign highlights amenities at Joyville Howrah, with top-views of the property. Joyville Homes, an affordable housing company, carries a ‘Live To Grow’ tagline that this campaign aligns with.

From saying ‘Don’t drink and drive’, this film for Mumbai Traffic Police addresses those who let their friends and family drink and drive. It captures this through the guilt of a boss, after whose birthday party, it’s time for him to attend a colleague’s funeral.

Clear Lenses
Categories: Print, Outdoor

Glasses so clear, you don’t see them. For Bausch and Lomb.
